How often should I clean the HEPA Filter?

The HEPA filter does not require cleaning.


How often should I clean the Humidification Filter?

Dirt build up varies by the usage environment of the humidifying filter. We recommend that you clean the humidification wheel if you notice an odour from the air outlet or a reduction in water usage rate. Refer to the operation manual for cleaning instructions.


How loud are the Air Purifiers?

All Daikin Air Purifiers have whisper quiet operation with sound levels of as low as 19dBA (in Quiet Mode).


Can the Daikin air purifiers humidify as well as purify?

The MCK55YPVM has a built-in humidifier with live humidity monitoring.

Eligibility Criteria 

To be eligible to claim under this offer: 


  • The product must have been purchased from Daikin’s Online Store. 
  • The product must have been used under normal household conditions and maintained in accordance with the instructions supplied. 
  • The product must be returned undamaged and in full working order (unless the issue relates to a manufacturing fault), in its original packaging and with valid proof of purchase. 
  • You must contact Daikin via LiveChat or email (online@daikin.com.au) within 30 days of purchase to lodge your claim. 
  • Once approved, the product must be returned within 14 days of lodging the claim. 


Accessories and Replacement Filters 

  • Accessories and consumable items, including but not limited to replacement HEPA filters and humidifying filters, are not eligible for the 30 Day Money Back Guarantee once opened, used or removed from their original sealed packaging. 
  •  This exclusion applies for hygiene, health and safety reasons, as filters are designed to capture airborne particles, allergens and other contaminants during normal use and cannot be resold once exposed to an operating environment. 
  • Unopened accessories that remain sealed in their original packaging, unused and in a resalable condition may be eligible for a refund at Daikin’s discretion, subject to inspection and the Australian Consumer Law. 


Claim Process 

  • Daikin reserves the right to verify the validity of all claims made under this offer. 
  • If your claim is assessed as valid, Daikin will provide instructions on how to return the product to Daikin’s nominated Australian premises. Daikin will cover the cost of return shipping within Australia for approved claims. 
  • Refunds will be processed within 30 days from the date Daikin receives the returned product.

  • Except for any liability that cannot be excluded by law, Daikin excludes all liability (including negligence) for any personal injury, loss or damage (whether direct, indirect, special or consequential) arising in connection with this offer.
